Have you ever had a horse come up with a mysterious limp, the day before a show? Have you had an injured horse laid up on stall rest during your competitive season? Do you find yourself wondering if it could have been avoided, and questioning the proper way to return them to work?
Join a 3-hour evening seminar to learn more about this!
3 main topics to be covered:
The evening begins with an hour and a half of classroom theory. Look through real life case scenarios and learn the process of assessment, team diagnostics involving a vet and other practitioners, and how to build a rehab plan for that horse. Assess how different disciplines put the horse at risk for certain injuries, and how conformation plays its part in predispositions.
Enjoy a light potluck, and then as a group we move down to the barn and take a sample of horses to assess and determine what that horse may benefit from in terms of massage treatments and maintenance plans.
